Trigger Point Dry Needling (TDN)

Dry needling technique is a safe and effective treatment that involves multiple advances of a small filament needle into a muscle. This aims to decrease pain which may be caused from a trigger point in that muscle. There is no injection of solution or medication, and the needle is typically very thin. Most patients don’t feel anything. Others feel only a mild discomfort. This technique helps to decrease muscle contracture, reduce chemical irritation, improve flexibility, and reduce pain. This technique is used to treat conditions such as arthritis, nerve irritation, muscular strain, ligament strains, and herniated disks.

This in turn, may throw off your balance and cause the room to spin. Individuals may need to sit at the edge of the bed in the morning to before walking to allow the room to stop spinning.
