Educational Boot Camp for Total Joint Replacement Patients

This free educational class offers information and hands-on benefits for Orthopaedic Specialists’ total joint replacement patients. During the class, a licensed physical therapist will instruct you on home exercises that will help prepare you for surgery. There will also be discussions and demonstrations for:

• Proper use of a walker and cane during ambulation and stair use
• Suggested postoperative accommodations that should be made to your home

We recommend that your planned postoperative personal caregiver attend the class with you.
